A Secure, Convenient Way to access and manage your money
When you use your First Secure Bank & Trust Debit Card, each transaction is automatically deducted from your checking account. No need to write checks. No more fumbling for cash.
How It Works
Linked to your checking account: When you use your debit card to make a purchase, the funds are deducted directly from your checking account.
PIN or signature: Depending on the merchant and the type of transaction, you may be required to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) or provide a signature to authorize the payment.
ATM withdrawals: You can also use your debit card to withdraw cash from ATMs associated with your bank or network.
Online and in-person purchases: Debit cards are widely accepted for both online and in-person transactions.
Digital Wallet: Add your debit card to Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Wallet to conveniently make purchases using your smart phone.
Advantages
Convenience: Debit cards are a convenient way to access your money without carrying cash.
No debt: Unlike credit cards, debit cards do not allow you to borrow money, helping you avoid debt.
Widely accepted: Debit cards are accepted by most merchants and ATMs worldwide.
Consumer protections: Debit cards offer some consumer protections against fraud and unauthorized transactions.

With text fraud alerts, if our system detects suspicious activity on your debit card, you’ll receive a text message with details about the transaction. All you have to do is respond to the text to confirm the transaction. If you indicate the transaction is fraud, you’ll receive another message with a number to call for follow-up. If not, you’re all set. The system will mark the transaction as legitimate and you can get on with your day – simple as that.
GETTING STARTED If we have your cell phone number on file you are automatically enrolled in this program. If there is suspicious activity on account, you will receive a text alert right away. If you need to add your mobile phone number to your contact information, please contact your local banker. You can opt out of the text at any time by following the prompts when you receive a message.
